Recall, that Edward Luce was both a speech writer, and now biographer to Larry Summers. That Summers and Luce are Neo-Liberals, of the most toxic kind, is a matter of fact! So should Luce’s comment, on his certainty that the New Democrat’s will loose both the House and the Senate, be a surprise? The Reader might just consider that Luce is a political ally of Dixiecrat Joe Manchin: a public servant who drives a Maserati! Here is Mr. Luce’s gleeful prediction of the New Democrat’s defeat in the 2022 Midterm Elections:

Yes. Democrats will lose both the House of Representatives and the Senate in a clean Republican sweep. Midterms are normally a setback for the party that controls the White House, but 2022 will look more like the “shellacking” Barack Obama’s Democrats received in 2010. On top of President Joe Biden’s low approval ratings, Republicans have been gerrymandering districts in states they run, which will only reinforce liberal disaffection with a system they see increasingly as rigged against them.
